CleanFlow AB, Sweden has signed an agreement for the delivery of a new green liquor filtration system to Ence Pontevedra.
The patented technology means that the green liquor becomes particle free and the amount of contaminants in the pulping process is significantly reduced. This improves operation in the mills, increases capacity and both environmental and energy savings are achieved.
The capacity of the new CleanFlow system has been dimensioned to fit the mill’s ongoing production capacity increase. Due to the modular system design, it can be easily expanded and thus adapted also to future capacity increases. Low operating costs and large capacity in small space are other advantages
The patented filtration technology is based on microfiltration and has been developed in collaboration with the Royal Institute of technology, KTH, Stockholm.
